I have been busy these last few weeks. First I was getting my house ready for an editor of a local magazine to visit. That was so much fun. It gave me an excuse to get things done that I have been intending to do for ages. Next, I decided to try my new camera out on taking some pictures of a client’s home for my portfolio. Now, I am in the middle of rearranging and restyling my bedroom for “scouting” photos. Scouting photos are the pictures that I send in to editors of magazines to see if they have interest. When the Meredith editor visited me for the photo shoot in my house, she had some great suggestions for how to make me bedroom more magazine-worthy. So, I am in the process of carrying out her ideas….
In the meantime, here is a closeup of a little piece that I put together for a client. This is a consignment store urn filled with finger sponges. I love the way it turned out.
